In this course, we will explore different forms of hand building. This will help you push your skills a step further to understand the possibilities of working with the techniques learnt in Basics 1 while simultaneously combining forms and techniques to advance further in the process.

We will combine at least two techniques to make the forms but not mandatory.

This course is divided into 4 parts. Each part will have one task that needs to be completed.

This also includes tasks that need to be done outside the working hours.

Glaze and fire the works made at the end of the course using underglazes and glazes.

This course could be more intense than the basic course. However, keeping in mind the time and duration of the course, you would be expected to bring sketches from time to time.

NOTE: There will be a gap between your 9th and your 10th class as your pieces will need to dry and then be fired before the 10th session. This break could be up to 2-4 weeks before you prepare them and glaze them for the 2nd firing of your works. Once the works are fired again, you will be informed. You can get them picked up within 2 weeks. Firing of 4 pieces are included in the course.
